Richard has over twenty-five years of training, facilitation and consulting experience. His work experience includes serving as an executive with a Fortune 100 company focused on the sales, delivery and support of software solutions in customer relationship management. While with Accenture, he worked with clients in several industries including manufacturing and utilities and functional areas including finance and human resources. In these roles, Richard has facilitated sessions including strategic planning, systems design, process improvement, issue resolution, after action reports/lessons learned and team building. In his last two years, he was also responsible for the Change Management/Organizational Development practice area where he worked in the areas of organizational development, executive coaching, leadership development with a focus on servant leadership. While pursuing his MBA, Richard served on the faculty of The Ohio State University. He has also taught online undergraduate courses for other accredited universities.
Richard is an expert in the Principles of Facilitation, a facilitation methodology which includes the ten fundamental principles of facilitation and over 100 specific techniques for implementing the principles. The principles provide a comprehensive approach for facilitating any session, and ensure a consistent level of quality and effectiveness in facilitation work. Richard’s primary focus is to help company’s drive results through the application of these facilitation tools.
